Why Wedding Photography Still Matter, Even on a Tight Budget

.This past weekend, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful, intimate wedding. It was simple, meaningful, and full of love, exactly what a wedding should be.

Like many couples today, they were working within a budget. Instead of skipping photography altogether, they chose to focus on what mattered most. We kept coverage intentional and meaningful, capturing the ceremony, a handful of bride and groom portraits, and time with their closest family. And honestly? It was perfect.

There’s a common misconception that wedding photography has to be all or nothing, but that’s simply not true. While full-day coverage is wonderful, it’s not the only option. What matters most is making sure the moments you’ll want to remember forever are documented.

Because when the day is over, the dress is packed away, the flowers are gone, and life moves forward, your photos are what remain. They tell the story of how it felt, who was there, and the moments you may not even realize were happening.

If you’re planning a wedding and feeling like photography might not fit into your budget, I want you to know there are options. Together, we can determine what moments are most important to you and build a custom package that fits your day and your priorities.

At the end of the day, it’s not about how many hours you book. It’s about making sure the moments that matter most are captured and preserved.

If you’re planning your wedding and wondering what photography coverage might look like for you, I’d love to help you create something that feels just right. Whether it’s a full celebration or a short and sweet ceremony, your story deserves to be captured.
